We are excited to announce Hystream has established Hystream UK Limited in the United Kingdom reflecting the importance of the UK as an important growth market for hydrogen.
Hystream’s objective is to realise cost-effective hydrogen solutions for transport (cars, HGV’s, buses and trains), shipping, construction and heating of buildings. We deliver end-to-end solutions through production, storage and distribution of hydrogen in support of society’s endeavor to decarbonize.
Hystream has just celebrated our first year of operations in The Netherlands where we experienced rapid growth. We have invested in the development of our marketing and sales, created and strengthened multiple partnerships and started the construction of our first hydrogen filling stations. We continue to explore new possibilities in the hydrogen market introducing the solutions we have developed and innovating new ones to meet our clients’ needs
The UK Hydrogen Market
The UK energy market is embracing the energy transition and has significant potential to decarbonise the energy system with hydrogen playing a pivotal role. The development of hydrogen solutions is gaining increasing traction driven by the UK government’s ambition to achieve net-zero by 2050. This target is now driving a range of developments with potential for hydrogen in green transport hubs, industrial clusters and heating for homes. For all of these applications Hystream offers flexible, affordable solutions that are delivered as mobile self contained and scalable for hydrogen production, storage and supply to the industrial, construction and transport sectors.

We are delighted to welcome Nils Cohrs as our Managing Director for the UK.
Nils brings a wealth of experience in international operations, asset management and strategy development in the gas industry for over 30 years. His most recent role was Head of Decommissioning for the Oil and Gas Authority (‘OGA’) in the UK.
Hystream UK Limited is a fully owned subsidiary of Hystream B.V. in The Netherlands. Hystream acts as an independent project developer to develop, install and operate smart scalable, flexible and reliable hydrogen solutions for mobility, hydrogen production and supply to industry for power generation.
