Hystream hydrogen value chain focuses on the production, storage and distribution of green hydrogen. We have strategic alliances with developers of hydrogen producing facilities (supply side) as well as users of hydrogen (demand side).
We are distinctive by the combination of decades of gas experience in the field of project management, safety and operation with a strong focus on delivery.

JOEP COENEN
Operational Director
Joep Coenen has 25 years of experience in process installations, safety and safety systems and sustainable energy systems (including biogas). Joep has worked for Shell (gas and energy systems), Solvay (biogas projects, HSE and safety), TATA Steel, SouthStream (project manager) and Versatec Energy B.V. (safety and operation compliance).
Gijs van Urk
Project engineer
Gijs is a Sustainable Energy Technology graduate student at the TU Delft.
I have started working at Hystream since March and I am very looking forward to applying my theoretical knowledge into practice and learn from the experience of my colleagues.
ALBERT HAAK
Commercial Director
Albert Haak has over 35 years of experience in Asset Management and management in upstream, midstream and downstream O&G companies such as Clyde Petroleum, BP-Amoco RWE-Essent and TAQA. Albert has been responsible for the last 10 years as technical director for TAP and SouthStream for the negotiation & construction of int. gas.

Project Engineer
Saartje Feith is a MSc student Sustainable Energy Technology at TU Delft and recently joined the team. Saartje is very excited to put her fluids and sustainable energy knowledge into practice at Hystream.
NILS COHRS
Hystream UK
Nils Cohrs is a qualified and experienced operations and asset manager with over 35 years international oil and gas experience. Nils has worked for ia. Shell, Wintershall, Centrica Storage UK and the Oil and Gas authority of the UK. With his experience in the UK he is now responsible for the production and distribution network development of Hystream in the UK.
ASTRID IJSSENNAGGER
Project Management & Finance Assistant
Astrid IJssennagger has been working for Hystream since the very beginning as Office Manager and Management Assistant. From January 1st 2022 she also works as Project Management Assistant and Finance Assistant. She loves having such different tasks and enjoys working with this great team.
NIELS VAN STAAVEREN
Project Engineer
Niels is a Space Engineering graduate at TU Delft. He shares the vision of hydrogen in a sustainable future and wants to help with achieving this goal. He is eager to learn from the experience of his seasoned colleagues at Hystream.
FATHAAH ANSARUL HUQ
Project Engineer
Fathaah is a MSc student at TU Delft with a background in Energy, Flow and Process Technology. He is excited about the prospects of green hydrogen, and is looking forward to apply the knowledge gained during education and contribute positively at Hystream.
